How do I place an order?
CHOOSE YOUR DESIGN – If you already have your design or you need our graphic design team to create something for you, rest assured we have the ability to put almost any design on apparel. If you have your design already, see our “Print Ready” section for complete directions on preparing “Print Ready” artwork. Make sure you provide your “Print Ready” artwork in one of these approved formats .eps, .ai, .cdr, .pdf, .jpg (high resolution .jpg only 300 dpi or above). If you don’t have a design no problem, just contact us and tell your sales representative what you’re looking for and they will advise you of what it will take to create your design and what it will cost.
CHOOSE APPAREL – We source apparel from the top manufacturers in the industry and offer thousands of styles, hundreds of colors and a variety of sizes for you to choose from. Visit our Online Catalog in the Quick Link section at the bottom of the page to choose from a wide array of items which we’re able to imprint with your logo or design. Once you’ve selected your apparel, be sure to take note of the following things:
– Apparel Name
– Style Number
– Sizes Needed
We also allow customer supplied garments but they must be new, unsoiled, unworn apparel with all tags still attached.
CONTACT US/PLACE ORDER – Now that you have an idea of your design and your apparel choice, it’s time to contact us and obtain a custom quote and place your order. Please provide the following to your sales representative:
– Your Artwork
– Your Choice of Apparel & Apparel Specs (Name, Style#, Color, Sizes)
– Date Needed
– Delivery/Shipping Information
We then provide you a custom quote and proof of your artwork for your review, and signature. Once both approvals and full payment are received, we begin your order the following business day.

What format do I need to submit my artwork?
As critically important as your ink color is your artwork preparation. If your artwork is of poor quality, your ultimate t-shirt print will be of poor quality. To avoid this issue and get the best result out of your artwork please watch our Creating Print Ready Artwork video to learn how you should provide us with your Print Ready artwork files.
What are your print sizes?
To ensure you have the right dimensions for your design, we offer several choices of print sizes. Below are some of our sizes:
Standard – up to 13” x 15”
Jumbo – up to 16” x 23”
All Over – up to 28” x 30”
Do you offer graphic design?
At Atlanta Cheap Tees, we employ experienced advanced degree graphic designers and illustrators from some of the best art and design schools in the world. They’ve worked with varieties of print mediums with a focus on custom graphic apparel design for an array of industries. Please see our Design Gallery for samples of our work, and contact us if you have questions or are interested in any of our design services. Our creative design rates are $30 – $50/hr based on the complexity and extent of your project. If your design only needs minor adjustments or basic text mock up, we charge a rate of $25 per design. How do I choose my ink colors?
The ink color is a critically important part of your finished product. When selecting your colors be sure to use the Pantone Solid Coated Book. This book most accurately represents the final cured ink color on your actual garments. If you need this level of accuracy, you’ll need to provide the corresponding Pantone number, or provide a printed sample of the color you need and we’ll custom color match according to your sample for an additional fee. There’s also a $10 fee for each ink color change in an order.
How many colors can you print?
We can print the full spectrum of colors in a design. We use several techniques to achieve this level of color depending on your design requirements and budget. We can produce full color prints on both light and dark colored garments. (See “What is 4-color process?”, “What is simulated process?”, and “What is Direct To Garment (DTG)? ” for examples)
What is an underbase or flash?
An underbase is a layer of ink (generally white) that is printed as a “base” on dark colored shirts for the main or top colors to sit on. This gives the top colors more brilliance. Since the underbase is generally a high opacity ink, it is flash-cured before the top colors are printed over it.
What styles of apparel do you offer?
At Atlanta Cheap Tees we’re able to print on almost anything, and even though we specialize in t- shirts we offer several different apparel options. Please visit our vendors for style and color options and other garment specifications. Please provide item number, color and sizes at time of ordering to ensure accurate apparel selection.
Can I mix shirt colors or apparel in my order?
Yes you can mix any shirt color or apparel as long as the same design is being printed on all (some restrictions apply). Dark colored garments may need an underbase. You can also change the ink color within your order, however there’s a $10 fee for each color change.
Can I bring my own apparel for you to print?
Yes, we can print on most apparel as long as handling doesn’t cause a manufacturing problem or safety concern. Just advise us that you’ll be providing your own garments or textiles, and we’ll provide pricing for printing only. All apparel must be new, clean, and with all original tags for us to accept from customers.
Can I get names and numbers on the back for our team shirts?
We can print any name or number to give your design a personalized look. Contact us now to learn how affordable it is to add personalization to your design or uniforms.
Will you print this artwork?
We reserve the right to refuse an order if we find it to be of a questionable nature. Questionable artwork can be deemed as artwork that promotes hate, or any offensive materials based on race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.
Do you have minimums?
No we don’t have minimums and we always welcome orders of any size from one to one million. Ordering at least twelve pieces or more allows us to utilize more affordable printing options and lowers your cost. You may want to take this into consideration when planning and budgeting your order.
Will I see a sample before you print my order?
We will send an electronic proof of your design before we begin production. This proof will show you ink colors, image sizes, and general placement. We will not begin production on your order until we have your approval of this proof.
When will my order be ready for delivery?
Our standard production time is 5 -7 business days from our receipt of full payment, the signed quote and artwork approval, as well as customer supplied apparel (if applicable). At this time you will receive an invoice with your jobs completion date which enters your job into production.
What do you charge for Rush Orders?
Our standard productions time is 5 to 7 business days, but we know there are times when our customers need a faster turn-around time on their items. We welcome rush orders and can produce your order in the following days rush:
5 Day – plus 25% of total
3 Day – plus 50% of total
2 Day – plus 100% of total
Where do you ship or deliver?
We can deliver your order directly to your door in the metro Atlanta area or anywhere in the U.S. We deliver in the metro area the following Wednesday after your order completes for a small $7 charge. We ship nationally via UPS, FedEx and USPS.
How long does shipping take?
What is your payment policy?
We require full payment in addition to the signed quote and artwork approval to move your job into production. We accept most major credit cards as well as cash and checks. If paying by credit or debit card there is a 3% payment processing fee in addition to the total. If paying by personal or business check, it must clear our bank prior to your job moving into production. Please take note to the delay this may cause.
What is your misprint policy?
At Atlanta Cheap Tees we inspect all garments before, during and after the printing process to ensure the highest quality during our care. Even though we take these steps to prevent errors sometimes misprints can occur. We do not charge for misprinted shirts that are brought to our attention within 2 days of apparel delivery and apparel must be unworn and in the same condition as delivered. Misprints that exceed 3 shirts or 3% of the original order (5 shirts or 5% for water-based orders) and those orders below our quality standards may be replaced at our expense. If you have a complicated order and are in need of an exact number of shirts, we recommend that you order a few extra, particularly in the case of an order printed with water-based inks.
Will you sponsor us and give us a discount on our order?
We’re unable to sponsor or provide a discount outside our normally low prices and seasonal specials. If you require some form of sponsorship or assistance, please contact this organization who may be able to help.
Something is wrong with my order...What do I do?
If there is ever anything wrong with your order, we will gladly fix it to your satisfaction. Just call us within 48 hours of receiving and inspecting your order with the error. We will either refund, credit, or replaced the damaged or misprinted item. Unfortunately because of the unique processes we employ, we are not responsible for any damage to customer provided garments.
